1. Section the hair as shown. Ensure clean, even partings for control and balance.
2. Start in the nape with vertical subsections. Elevate to 90° and use a razor to create short internal layers, removing bulk and adding texture.
3. Continue into the lower sides with the same technique, maintaining symmetry.
4. Above the undercut, take a horizontal subsection and razor cut the perimeter length for a soft, fluid baseline.
5. Work upward with horizontal sections. Elevate and razor cut each section shorter to build shape and volume. Add freehand texture for movement.
6. Move to the sides using diagonal or vertical subsections. Keep the finger angle parallel to the jawline and razor cut for a soft face-framing shape.
7. Repeat on the opposite side, mirroring elevation and angles for balance.
