1. Section the hair as shown.
2. Start in the fringe with a central vertical subsection. Let the hair fall naturally and point cut at eye level for softness.
3. Work outward from the center, rounding softly toward the sides with even elevation and tension for a seamless face frame.
4. Repeat on the other side, slightly overdirecting back to preserve outer corner length and create a soft, tiered frame.
5. Move to the back. Take horizontal subsections, elevate slightly, and scoop from short to long to remove weight and layer softly.
6. Continue layering upward. In the crown, elevate horizontal sections to 90° and point cut for visible layering without blending into the lower back.
7. Release side sections and overdirect each back to the rear guide to build a layered yet soft perimeter.
8. Return to the fringe, assess visually, and refine dense areas with shallow point cutting for a light, lived-in texture.
